About
Frank DuPree is the President of Vista Capital Management Group and the principal of DuPree Company, LLC. Prior to the formation of DuPree Company in June 2004, Mr. DuPree served as Regional Vice President of Apartment Investment Management Company (AIMCO), where his duties included full charge accountability for the operation of 156 apartment communities consisting of approximately 18,000 units located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida.
Prior to AIMCO, Mr. DuPree served as Asset Manager for Insignia Financial Group, where he was responsible for approximately 72 owned assets consisting of over 10,000 units. He also served in the position of Regional Vice President for Insignia Management Group. Prior to Insignia, Mr. DuPree served as Vice President for the Boston Financial Group.
Mr. DuPree has been in the multi-family industry since 1978, serving in various capacities, including property management involving both asset and fee management. He holds Real Estate Broker’s Licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee. Additionally he holds the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation; holds the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM); and is also recognized as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and is a Asset Management Specialist and CHAM Certification designee.
Mr. DuPree is past-President of the Upper State Apartment Association and past-President of the South Carolina IREM Chapter. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and currently serves on the National Affordable/Workforce Housing Council. Additionally he currently serves as a National Governing Councillor for IREM.
Appointed to Vice Chair NAHMA Senior Housing Council.
